Snowpocalypse 2010: IT HAS ARRIVED
Started snowing last night and it's supposed to continue to do so/sleet/freezing rain/winter weather until about 6:00 this evening. We've got inches here, which is MAJOR. This is the most snow we've had in probably ten years. A picture for a frame of reference:

Now I have to get in the shower, get dressed, and decide if I'm sledding at the elementary school up the road before other people destroy the good sledding snow, or if I'm playing in the yard with the dog first. :)

We were supposed to get a ~winter storm~ last night, but it's just cold. No snow. =( SLED FOR ME, ERIN. SLED FOR ME.

I am a firm believer that it shouldn't be cold without there being snow. And I did go sledding for the first time in probably five years! It was pretty miserable, though, because it was sleeting and windy and 23 degrees. :(

Oh ew. I'm sorry your sledding wasn't too fun =(

It's alright-at least I got to go. I was tired anyway because trudging up a huge hill covered in five inches of snow takes it out of you after the first three times or so! I called it quits anyway because I don't think my rainboots were made for snow and I'm done when my feet get cold.

I'm the same. When my feet get cold, I'm out. And I imagine rainboots aren't the best for snow, even though you can get some hella cute ones.

I'm like my father with that. And I figured I should wear them because Dad didn't know how deep it was this morning when he went out to feed the birds and got snow all in his boots. *Gasp* it's so bad here regular snow boots won't even do the trick! *faints*
